Hard drives

Hard drives received at our facility are handled properly to ensure data destruction and security. Material containing hard drives are taken apart and the hard drive is destroyed in a safe and secure manner. A certificate of recycling is available upon request.

CRT monitors

Cathode ray tube (CRT) monitors are handled at our facility for a small fee ($10.00 per unit). CRT monitors are the older style of monitor.  As technology has progressed, these monitors have become obsolete. It is important that these monitors are recycled at facilities that are capable of processing them correctly. Didion Orf Recycling receives CRT monitors and packages them according to all pertinent laws and regulations, then sends them to approved downstream vendors for proper recycling.

LCD monitors

Liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors have replaced older CRT monitors. Although they are more convenient, they too must be recycled properly. LCD Monitors contain mercury in their backlights and if not handled properly, can have a negative impact on the environment. Bring them to us and we will recycle them for .20LB

Printers and miscellaneous electronics

We can take printers, copiers, fax machines, and other consumer/household electronics. Most of these items are free to drop off for recycling.

Power supplies

Similar to CRT monitors, Didion Orf Recycling receives CRT televisions for a fee of .40 cents/pound. We package them according to all pertinent laws and regulations, then sends them to approved downstream vendors for proper recycling.
